NOD Chairman Governor Tom Ridge Testifies Before Senate HELP Committee

Washington, DC July 14, 2011 — This week, NOD Chairman and former Governor of Pennsylvania Tom Ridge testified before the Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions. The topic of the hearing was “Lessons from the Field: Learning From What Works for Employment for Persons with Disabilities.”

“[Americans with Disabilities’] resourcefulness in tackling issues that others do not encounter and their persistence in overcoming obstacles all lead to innovative approaches and a drive that are welcome in any job, in any field, “ Ridge said.
