NOD Welcomes New Directors Jeri Eckhart Queenan, Bonnie St. John and Steve Szilagyi
NEW YORK, NY, May 25, 2010 — The National Organization on Disability (NOD) is pleased to announce the election of Jeri Eckhart Queenan, Bonnie St. John, and Stephen J. Szilagyi to join its National Board of Directors.
Jeri Eckhart Queenan is a Partner in the Boston office of Bridgespan, leading the organization’s global development focus area. Eckhart Queenan’s career spans the corporate, public and nonprofit sectors including being named a White House Fellow and serving as Associate Deputy Secretary of Labor. Her earlier work included serving as Manager at the The Boston Consulting Group.
Bonnie St. John became the first African-American ever to win Olympic medals in ski racing at the 1984 Paralympic winter games. She has spent 15 years training business executives, politicians, and educators on leadership. St. John is a world-renowned keynote speaker, the author of five books, a Rhodes Scholar, and a former White House economic official.
Stephen J. Szilagyi is Senior Vice President of Distribution for Lowe’s Companies, Inc. Szilagyi is responsible for the operations of 29 distribution centers serving all Lowe's stores. He joined Lowe’s in 2001, and has over 20 years of experience in retail and consumer products distribution.
