As Chief of Staff, Moeena Das oversees finance, human resources, operations, and strategic initiatives for NOD, while also serving as an advisor to the President.
Moeena brings experience working with mission-driven and high-growth organizations in the nonprofit and public sector. Most recently, Moeena worked at the New York City Mayor’s Office of Immigrant Affairs where she led the design and implementation of programs that provided immigrant New Yorkers with access to free and safe immigration legal help in neighborhoods, public schools, and public hospitals across the city. She has also worked with Rare, an international conservation organization, where she led special projects, fundraising operations, and nonprofit mergers and acquisition efforts, and at Partners In Health, a global health organization, where she coordinated the public sector development strategy and engagement.
Moeena holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Wellesley College, has studied Social Policy and Management at the London School of Economics, and is pursuing her Master of Public Administration from New York University.
